ADMISSION TO MANAGEMENT QUOTA SEATS IN B.E./B.Arch

  1. Whether Management seat can be booked or reserved?

    There is no provision for booking/reserving a seat. Admissions are on merit basis based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology).

  2. How many number if seats are available under Management Quota?

    5% of the sanctioned intake is available in all the Aided branches i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Industrial Engineering. 25% of the sanctioned intake is available in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Science, Instrumentation, Medical Electronics, Chemical, Bio-Technology and Architecture.

  3. Is there is any Donation?

    There is no Donation charged for admission.

  5. How does the hostel admissions happen?

    Hostel Admission is independent of college admission. After securing the seat, the student has to apply for hostel seat separately. Since there are limited number of seats available, the admission is done based on First Come First Serve (FCFS). For details see the hostel information page.

  6. Any entrance test is conducted for admission by college?

    There is no Entrance Test conducted by the college.

  7. Procedure for Management Quota Admission

    The Admission (allotment of the seat) is based on the merit that is marks secured by the candidate in PUC or (10 + 2) or any Equivalent Examination passed.

  8. How to apply for a Management Seat?

    The application should be downloaded from the College Website (www.bmsce.ac.in). The filled in application along with a DD for Rs.500/- drawn in favor of BMS Educational Trust payable at Bangalore shall be submitted to the PRINCIPAL of the College.

  9. What are eligibility criteria for admissions?

  10. Last date for submission of the Application?

    The last date for submission of application is 5th June 2010.

  11. Whether the applications are accepted after the Last date?

    The applications are also be accepted after the due date subjected to the consideration by the College Admission Committee.

  12. Is the fees common for all the students?

    The fees prescribed by the Management are same for all the students seeking admission under management quota. However he fee varies with the choice of the branch.

  13. Any Fee Concession for those who have scored more marks?

    No fees concession is extended based on the merit.

  14. Is there any state-wise reservation?

    There is no state-wise quota/reservation of allotment of seats.
