Dr. K Mallikharjuna Babu is the Principal of B.M.S. College for Engineering and has been a Motivation factor of all the activities. He is the Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering & Management. He is a recepient of Dr. J. Mahajan Award.

Message

BMSCE was founded by a great visionary, Late B. M. Sreenivasaiah, to produce high quality engineers for the Indian context. The Institute has, indeed, fulfilled this objective in an able manner during the past 60 years.

We have a new challenge. We have to produce engineers who can operate efficiently across the globe, who can excel in a multicultural environment, and who can negotiate confidently across cultures. Further, we have to benchmark ourselves on a global scale with the best education institutions, and become the institution-of-choice for the best students from the most advanced countries in the world. This is a big challenge indeed. Knowing the great faculty we have, I have no doubt that this objective will be achieved and exceeded.

Ever since its inception, BMSCE has focused on developing worldclass engineers. Today, BMSCE Alumni occupy key positions in top organizations both in India and abroad and have acted as the ambassadors of change wherever they have worked. Several Alumni also serve as faculty at leading international Instuities.
